Iglesias Notches 14 No. 1 on the Dance Chart: Here are 5 Faves

Enrique Iglesias celebrates his 14th No. 1 on Billboard’s Dance Club Songs chart this week, the most for any male artist. Turns out Iglesias doesn’t even dance, by his own admission, but we’ve danced along with him for almost 20 years.

Take a trip down memory lane with us to remember eight Enrique Iglesias dance hits we love.

1. "Bailamos" (Hit No. 1 08/21/99): “Bailamos, let the rhythm take you over bailamos. Te quiero.” After this hit, everyone in the world was able to dance and fall in love, en español. A hot video with hot dancers, not to mention Iglesias, manage to come off as sultry instead of cheesy.

2. "Hero" (hit No. 1 12/15/01): The poignant “Hero,” released by sheer coincidence weeks after 9/11, struck a chord. Any version worked.

3. "I Like It" (Hit No. 1 8/28/10): Enrique’s no-holds-barred party anthem with Pitbull was just plain fun. No one can stay off the dance floor with this track.

4. "Tonight (I’m Lovin You)" (Hit No. 1 02/05/11): A mere six months after “I Like It,” Enrique wasn’t nearly as innocent. Featuring Ludacris and DJ Frank E, the video for “Tonight” gets pretty explicit.

5. "Bailando" (Hit No. 1 10/18/14): No dance playlist is complete without the longest-running hit ever on the Latin charts. Also featuring Descemer Bueno and Sean Paul (in the English-language version) this is the track that launched Gente de Zona. But it's dancing that gets you hooked on the video.
