Julieta Venegas Shares Leaked Demo of Juan Gabriel Singing 'Andar Conmigo'

After a leaked version of Juan Gabriel's cover of "Andar conmigo" hit the Internet on Tuesday, Mexican singer and songwriter Julieta Venegas took to social media to share the story behind the unpublished demo.

"Friends, I have no idea how or when this demo leaked on the Internet. Juan Gabriel did it a long time ago for a collaboration that we didn't get to do in the end. But this memory is left of it. It makes me excited every time I listen to it and I want to share it with all of you. Viva Juan Gabriel! Viva Alberto Aguilera, generous, unique, talented, marvelous Mexican and of the world. Amen!"

The Tijuana native said during a press conference in Mexico City that she decided to share the cover because she felt so "sentimental" after "El Divo de Juárez's" unexpected passing on Sunday (Aug. 28).
