Maná's 1992 classic "De pies a cabeza" is getting a new version featuring urban superstar Nicky Jam. The Mexican rock band took to social media to tease the new single, which is set to drop this Friday (Aug. 5).

Back in June, Maná and Nicky teased studio sessions on social media saying it was a "historical" reunion. This is the first collab between Nicky Jam and Maná. "I've always wanted to work with Maná, I've been a fan of them since I started singing reggaeton in 1992. They were already my idols and today they continue to be. I never thought I'd work with them so this is a blessing," said Nicky Jam in a statement.

"We had been wanting to do something and Nicky Jam is a very talented man, and yes it is a different genre but all the genres can mix," added Maná's frontman, Fher Olvera.

The upbeat track, which was included in the band's album Dónde jugarán los niños?, spent one week in the top 20 of the Latin Pop Airplay chart in 1995.

Nicky Jam is currently on The Fenix Tour in Latin America while Maná is set to kick off their Latino Power Tour in the U.S. on Sept. 9 in San Diego. The trek is being billed as a call to Latinos to go out and vote in the upcoming presidential election in November.
