LAMC Announces 2016 Panelists

Kickstarter head of music Molly Neuman, Latin Grammy President Gabriel Abaroa & Roc Nation Latin President Johnny Marines among those to speak at the New York gathering in July.

Kickstarter head of music Molly Neuman, Latin Grammy President Gabriel Abaroa and KCRW DJ Raul Campos are among the panelists announced for the upcoming Latin Alternative Music Conference.

“Latin Music in Films, TV & Advertising,” “How to Hit the Road and Not Go Broke or Break Up,” “Finding Your Online Tribe and Engaging Fans” and “Finding Your Money in the Music Stream” are among the panels to be held during the LAMC, set to take place in New York City from July 6-9.

An advance event focusing on the role of technology in entertainment, organized in partnership with Google, will be held on Thursday, June 30. Participants include new Roc Nation Latin President Johnny Marines.

Representatives from Spotify, Pandora, Soundcloud, SiriusXM, Deezer, and managers, label heads and recording engineers are among those tapped to appear, and Shure, Pioneer DJ, Native Instruments and other brands will showcase their latest product at the 2016 the annual confab, which for 17 years has grown from an encounter of Latin rock aficionados and indie empresarios to a meeting of diverse music industry professionals.
