Mexican-American metal band Brujería joins the anti-Trump movement with new song "Viva Presidente Trump," released today (May 13) on digital platforms.

The song's title may fool you into thinking they support Republican candidate Donald J. Trump. But the premise of the tune is that they actually hope he becomes president so they can declare war on Trump, with lyrics like: "I actually want him to be president gabacho, because he wants war and so do we. I want the Trump president to win because if he starts something, we're definitely gonna finish it."

"Viva Presidente Trump" is part of Brujería's upcoming album on Nuclear Blast Records. "The song was on shelf for years with no idea for vocals. It just needed proper motivation to go and attach itself to someone ... and Trump came through," said vocalist Juan Brujo, real name John Lepe, in a statement.

"I see Trump as the white Republican version of Juan Brujo circa '93. Wanting to start sh-- for the hell of it. We both want the same thing! So much that I want to be his running mate," he added.
