Fher Olvera, Alex Gonzalez join Eva Longeria and other influential Latinos for panel before White House 5 de Mayo performance

Maná members Fher Olvera and Alex Gonzalez will join Eva Longeria, Orange is the New Black actress Diane Guerrero, and celebrity chef José Andres, among others, for a public conversation about the growing influence of Latinos in the United States.

The panel, to take place tomorrow (May 4) at the Woolly Mammoth Theatre Company in Washington, D.C., is part of Latino Talks, an event series organized by the Latino Victory foundation, of which Longoria is co-founder.

Maná is set to perform at the White House on May 5 during a presidential Cinco de Mayo celebration.

The Mexican rock superstars kick off their “Latino Power Tour” Sept. 9 in San Diego. The musicians will travel throughout the U.S. until just after election day in November. The tour is being billed as a call to vote for Latinos nationwide.
