Rising Mexican-American DJ Deorro has teamed up with merengue star and Grammy winner Elvis Crespo for "Bailar," a track that aims to get everyone to, well, bailar. Since premiering on the EDM scene in 2013, Deorro has racked up a number of collaborations with some of the most prominent names in the industry -- Steve Aoki and Diplo to name a few -- but "Bailar" marks his first venture into the Latin music realm. Deorro and Crespo's "Bailar" fuses together the unique passion and zeal of merengue with the pulsing non-stop energy of electronic music.

“I believe Elvis is the king of merengue. My family and everyone in my entire culture grew up listening to his music and I am so happy he was down to work on this with me. Creativity has no limits!” says Deorro.

When asked about teaming up with Deorro, Elvis praised their positive collaborative experience and noted the rise of EDM across the music world. "Working with Deorro for me has been such a gratifying experience, very comfortable and there is great chemistry between him and I and it has allowed me to reach a different audience than mine," he says. "This is an audience that continues to crave that electronic sound that is on trend and so popular. This collaboration has reinvented my sound and giving my career an 'update' of sorts!"

The music video places Crespo and Deorro in the middle of a nearly-ruined quiceanera. The father's fruitless attempts to sabotage his daughter's budding romance at her quinceanera were entirely Deorro's idea: “I wrote the treatment to this video and am excited how it turned out. I had the idea that I wanted it to be a young love story but also make it funny. The dad in the chicken costume is the best part! We shot it in Miami during WMC so it was a bit crazy, but we had fun. It made Elvis and I feel we were actually performing at a quinceanera.”
