Marc Anthony Signs Grammy and Latin Grammy Award Winning Producer Sergio George to Magnus Media

Marc Anthony's Magnus Media entertainment company signed eighteen-time Grammy and Latin Grammy award winning producer Sergio George. The partnership was announced today, April 25. 

Magnus will oversee George's interests in all areas of the entertainment industry throughout the worldwide. The relationship also includes the formation of a venture to jointly develop talent and music content. 

"Sergio has been an integral part of the success of my music career. He's a musical genius," said Anthony about the new partnership. "I'm sure that with his knowledge and the business platform we're able to provide him at Magnus, we'll achieve even more incredible feats in music and other areas. I'm looking forward to this new stage of our professional relationship." 

George and Anthony collaborated for the first time in 1993 on the salsa singer's debut tropical music album Otra Nota. They then reunited for Anthony's award-winning production Marc Anthony 3.0. The 2014 "Producer of the Year" Latin Grammy winner in George has worked with other Latin music stars such as Celia Cruz, Tito Puente, Victor Manuelle, Luis Enrique, Prince Royce, among others.

In his new Billboard cover story, the "Vivir Mi Vida" singer said the creation of Magnus Media was born out of "f---ing frustration." "Some of the biggest influencers on the planet are Latino artists and athletes. I'm really interested in seeing how this pans out. If it works, we'll be miles ahead of a lot of people." 

George joins Cuban duo Gente de Zona and Chino Y Nacho, Alejandro Sanz (signed to a deal for licensing, sponsorship and endorsements) and radio personality Enrique Santos to be signed under Magnus Media.
