Nicky Jam snags over 300 million views on Youtube

Nicky Jam continues to celebrate. On Wednesday (April 13) the urban phenomenon announced that his music video “Hasta el Amanecer” reached 300 million views on YouTube in only 87 days. Jam is confirmed for the Sony/ATV Q&A at Billboard Latin Music Conference and is an 11-time finalist for the awards (first time in his career).

Juan Gabriel & Marc Anthony music video

Juan Gabriel has released the music video to  “Yo te Recuerdo”  featuring Marc Anthony. The song brings both superstars together in a rich salsa, making it Juan Gabriel’s first time singing this genre. This year, Juan Gabriel is a finalist in seven categories, while Anthony is up for six categories.

Considering this is a special edition of Latin Notas, we couldn't leave out 12-time finalist Romeo Santos. So far he has collected 32 Billboard Latin Music Awards (7 as a solo artist and 25 with Aventura). But, where does he keep all the awards? Check out the following interview:



Shakira reaches 6 billion views on Vevo

Four-time finalist Shakira has reached the mark of 6 billion video views on her Vevo channel. Of course, she shared the big news on her Instagram (see the picture below). The first time that the Colombian superstar won a Billboard Latin Music Award was in 1997. So far she has collected 28 awards.



Chino & Nacho confirm a summer tour with Guaco

Venezuelan duo Chino & Nacho announced that they will kick off their U.S. tour titled “Radio Universo: Chino & Nacho + Guaco” on July 1st. The concert series will take them  to eight cities including Miami, Orlando, Houston, and New York, among others. Chino & Nacho are finalists in the Latin Pop Songs Artist of the Year, Duo or Group category.
