Marc Anthony is set to perform for the first time ever at New York's iconic Radio City Music Hall in August for a series of concerts titled the Marc Anthony Private Collection. According to a press release that confirmed the news, the shows will take the audience on a journey throughout the "Vivir Mi Vida" singer's musical trajectory.

"Radio City Music Hall is a legendary venue where many acclaimed figures have performed, but until now, I hadn’t had the chance to bring my show to that stage," said the Latin icon, who was born and raised in New York. "Coming back home with my music is always an honor. Knowing that I am having the chance to perform at the showplace of the nation and one of New York’s landmarks means more than my words can express." The confirmed dates of his showcase are August 26, 27 and 28, and tickets will go on sale as early as Friday, March 18.

The announcement comes just a few weeks after he received a Guinness World Record before a sold-out performance at the Madison Square Garden for most year-end best-selling albums on the Tropical Albums chart by a solo artist.

Just last month, the salsa star landed the No. 1 spot on Billboard's weekly ranking of Hot Tours as the top ticket-seller with $4.5 million in sales from three concerts in the NYC metropolitan area.
