Reggaeton singer J Balvin became the first Latin artist to appear on the cover of Fader magazine in over a decade. For first time, the publication has covered a story in English and Spanish. Balvin stated in a video presentation that he wants “to invite the mainstream” into his world. “More than anything what I want right now is to keep making history in Spanish,” he said. Diego Boneta launches “Ur Love”
Taking over of all digital platforms, Diego Boneta has launched a new single called “Ur Love." The music video, also released along with the song, is part of a series of 4 videos that are connected to each other and are included in Boneta’s EP that will be released this year.
HTV’s 2016 Heat Latin Music Awards
Latin American music video channel HTV, just announced the second annual Heat Latin Music Awards, which recognize the best music videos in the region. The show will be broadcast from Cap Cana, Dominican Republic in June. Last year, the winner of the night was J Balvin who won three awards, one of them for his video of “Ay Vamos."
Zion & Lennox new single
Urban duo Zion & Lennox dropped a new single, “Embriagame.” The romantic song follows their previous hit “Pierdo la Cabeza," which placed them as finalists for the 2016 Billboard Latin Music Awards.
