Nicky Jam bounds 27-8 on Hot Latin Songs with his latest single, "Hasta el Amanecer," granting the urban artist his fifth top 10 on the tally (chart dated Feb. 6). The release of the song's official video on Jan. 14 helped it fly up the chart; the cut's chart debut the previous week was mostly due to initial airplay. The track enters Latin Digital Songs at No. 1 (6,000 downloads in the week ending Jan. 21, according to Nielsen Music), marking Jam's second chart-topper.

On Latin Airplay, "Amanecer" earns the Hot Shot Debut and Greatest Gainer tag, starting at No. 24 with 5.1 million audience impressions (up 166 percent in the week ending Jan. 24).

Nicky Jam Scores First No. 1 on Hot Latin Songs

Banda Sinaloense MS Steps Up: While Jam's "Hasta el Amanecer" scales Hot Latin Songs, his "El Perdon," with Enrique Iglesias, dips 2-3, marking its first week outside the top two since the chart dated March 14, 2015. Swapping spots with the song is Banda Sinaloense MS de Sergio Lizarraga's "Solo Con Verte," following a four-week stay at No. 3. Streaming provides the majority of its rise, with 1.6 million domestic weekly streams recorded (an 18 percent increase, week ending Jan. 21). Of the regional Mexican group's 12 Hot Latin Songs entries, "Solo Con Verte" is its highest-charting, having surpassed two No. 4 hits.

Gerardo Ortiz’s 10th Top 10: Gerardo Ortiz earns his 10th top 10 on Hot Latin Songs as "Por Que Terminamos?" hops 12-9. Airplay drives the climb, with 10.6 million audience impressions in the tracking week (up 29 percent), also sparking the song's 10-4 jump on Latin Airplay.

Farruko’s ‘Obsesionado’ Flies: Farruko earns his highest debut on Hot Latin Songs, as well as the chart’s top debut of the week, landing at No. 33 with “Obsesionado.” A strong start at radio aids in its arrival, with 3.9 million audience impressions -- enough for a No. 34 debut on Latin Airplay. Meanwhile, the Puerto Rican singer’s single “Sunset,” featuring Nicky Jam, continues for a 26th week on Hot Latin Songs, dipping 14-15.
