2016 Billboard Latin Music Conference: Registration Opens Today
The 2016 Billboard Latin Music Conference will take place April 25-28 at the Ritz-Carlton in Miami Beach, and registration for the event officially opens today.
Offering three days of showcases, panels, Q&A sessions and workshops focusing on the cutting edge of Latin music, the Billboard Latin Music Conference opens at BillboardLatinConference.com with early bird, loyalty and group rates available.
The conference, which celebrates its 27th year in 2016, is the biggest, longest-running and most prestigious gathering for Latin music and artists in the world. Last year’s roster of speakers included superstars Romeo Santos, Carlos Santana, Luis Fonsi, Nicky Jam, J Balvin and Ismael Cala, among dozens others. The event culminates with the 2016 Billboard Latin Music Awards, which will air live April 28 on the Telemundo Network from the BankUnited Center in Miami.
This year’s conference will again bring together top artists and tastemakers representing all genres of Latin music.
Billboard’s signature “Latin Divas” panel will return, as will the annual “Urban Music Panel” and the star Q&A sessions.
Panel discussions will include conversations on streaming services, new technology, touring, revenue streams, artist development and music, marketing and advertising, with an entire afternoon devoted to Billboard’s signature “Marketing Exchange.”
