In a historic first, the world’s three largest performance rights organizations, BMI, ASCAP and SESAC, joined forces to present the annual “Los Producers” benefit concert on the eve of the Latin Grammy Awards (Nov. 18) at the Fremont Country Club in Las Vegas.

Over 20 past Latin Grammy winners and nominees, including artists, producers, composers and engineers, took to the stage throughout the evening in an effort to raise funds for the Cim*ab Foundation (Asociación Mexicana Contra el Cáncer de Mama, A.C), a Mexico-based non-profit for breast cancer prevention and treatment.

The event is always one of the highlights of Latin Grammy week, with veteran stars joining emerging acts in performing spirited covers of cross-generational and multi-genre favorites. Standouts of Wednesday night's celebration included Alejandro Sanz covering “Escuela de Calor” by Radio Futura, Raquel Sofía’s folky take on the Prince classic “Kiss,” rockers Moderatto performing their electrifying version of Selena’s “Amor Prohibido,” Francisca Valenzuela doing a powerful cover of Radiohead’s “Creep,” and No Te Va A Gustar covering Soda Stereo’s hit song “De Música Ligera.”
