Latin American Music Awards: Who Should Win Artist of the Year? Vote!
The Latin American Music Awards are a little more than 24 hours away, and some of your favorite artists are rehearsing for the big night atop the Dolby Theatre stage in Hollywood right now.
The night won’t be short on talent -- and we’re not just talking Latin stars. Confirmed performers for the Latin AMAs include Paulina Rubio, Daddy Yankee, Jesse & Joy, Reik, Farruko, Fonseca, Shaggy, Lil Jon, Yandel, Natalie La Rose, Jencarlos Canela, Luis Coronel, CD9, Gloria Trevi, Gerardo Ortiz, Il Volo and DJ Alex Sensation.
Who will take home trophies? We'll have to wait and see, but it's definitely competitive, with artists like Latin urban idol Nicky Jam -- the most nominated artist with a total of six nods -- facing off against his own “El Perdón” duet partner, Enrique Iglesias, for Artist of the Year. Here’s your chance to declare who deserves to win that coveted trophy as well as two other key categories: Song of the Year and New Artist of the Year.
And don’t forget to tune into the first-ever Latin American Music Awards Oct. 8, beginning with a one-hour red carpet pre-show special at 8 p.m. ET, followed by the awards show at 9 p.m. ET, to be broadcast live simultaneously on Telemundo and NBC Universo.
Arguably the most important category of the night, Artist of the Year is a tight race!
This is particularly tough one! All of these songs have their place in our hearts...
This one is special in that it recognizes artists early in their career, and for whoever wins, it will be the first of many...
