Hispanic tribute video features Pitbull, Wyclef, Gloria Estefan, Eva Longoria, Whoopi Goldberg, Carlos Santana and more.
Emilio Estefan’s “We’re All Mexican,” the tribute video and song he produced to celebrate Latino accomplishments around the world, is now up in YouTube, its release coinciding with Hispanic Heritage Month.
"There’s a message being sent out to the world where people are giving opinions that are plain wrong," the Cuban-American Estefan, who has won 19 Grammy awards, told Billboard earlier this month. "We need to lift up our pride and show the world what we’re doing."
The video is a collage of images and video featuring dozens of Latin personalities, including Pitbull, Thalia, Wyclef, Carlos Santana, Rita Moreno, Luis Coronel, Carlos Vives, Banda El Recodo, as well as Kathy Griffin, Whoopi Goldberg, Eva Longoria, Perez Hilton and chef Jose Andres speaking, rapping or singing words of support to the Mexican and Hispanic communities.
