Daddy Yankee to Premiere New Single on 'Sábado Gigante' Finale Live from MSG: Exclusive

It's a double whammy for Daddy Yankee. On Saturday, the reggaeton star will premiere his new single, “Vaivén,” at his Madison Square Garden show in New York City, and the performance will air live via satellite on Sábado Gigante’s final show, Billboard has learned.

Last week, Univision announced the line-up of talent participating on the finale of the show which includes Shakira, Enrique Iglesias, Juanes, Espinoza Paz, and Gloria Estefan, among others.

Yankee’s participation is this way of thanking television host Mario Kreutzberger (known as Don Francisco) for giving him his first opportunity on national TV. "Don Francisco was the first person who gave me a shot on national television. I’ll always be indebted to him," Yankee previously told Billboard.

Daddy Yankee’s fans have been waiting for his return to New York since 2005, when he performed for first time at Madison Square Garden, after “Gasolina” became an international hit.
