The 2015 Latin American Music Awards

Now that the nominations for the first edition of the Latin American Music Awards have been revealed and voting has officially opened on, it’s time to talk star power -- specifically, which nominees you’re hoping to see perform Oct. 8 on the Dolby Theater stage in Hollywood.

Could it be the most-nominated artist, Nicky Jam, with his “El Perdón” duet partner Enrique Iglesias? Or perhaps Nicky Jam’s Colombian brother-from-another-mother, J Balvin? How about Balvin’s compatriot Maluma, who is up for new artist of the year? Outside of the Latin urban world, are you yearning to see Romeo Santos or Prince Royce bring a dose of bachata to the evening? Maybe Maná can rock the stage, representing Mexico, along with Calibre 50 or the iconic Juan Gabriel?

And let’s not forget about the women. Paulina Rubio, Gloria Trevi, Chiquis Rivera…there are so many possibilities.

In the interest of brevity, the below poll does not include every single nominee, so if you don’t see your top pick(s), sound off in the comments. The idea is to start an ongoing conversation leading up to this all-new awards show celebrating the best in Latin music. Follow #LatinAMAs to keep it going!
