Alejandro Sanz, Laura Pausini, Paulina Rubio, Yandel and More to Perform at SBS' 'Grand Slam Party Latino' in Miami
A slew of Latin stars including Alejandro Sanz, Laura Pausini, Paulina Rubio, Yandel, Farruko, Ivy Queen, Belinda and Zion & Lennox will perform at the SBS “Grand Slam Party Latino” show taking place Dec. 5 at Marlins Park in Miami.
The stadium, home to the Miami Marlins, seats over 36,000 and will host a major Latin concert for the first time since it opened in 2012.
The “Grand Slam Party Latino,” produced by SBS Entertainment with Marlins Park, will feature over 20 acts (more to be announced soon) performing on a revolving stage and with what’s being billed as “multimillion dollar production.”
Tickets to the show go onsale at 6 am on Aug. 21, with the first 1,000 ticket buyers able to purchase seats for $1. Regular tickets will go on sale at 10 a.m.
While SBSE has long produced major concert events in major U.S. cities and Puerto Rico, including Megaton in New York and Calibash in Los Angeles plus multiple Miami shows, the sheer size of Marlins Park makes this its most ambitious show to date in Miami.
“This will be the most impressive concert produced in the capital of Latin America,” said Lucas Piña, SVP of SBS Entertainment. “It also celebrates the beginning of the Christmas season.”
“Grand Slam” will be promoted locally by SBS roster of Miami stations: EL ZOL 106.7FM, ZETA 92.3FM and 95.7FM.
