Ricky Martin, ShakiraJennifer Lopez and Pitbull all have their own wax body doubles at the world-famous Madame Tussauds museums, but one die-hard fan has been making a strong case for a particular artist outside of the pop realm.

Jennifer Nieves from the Bronx, New York, is such a devoted Romeo Santos fan that she created a Change.org online petition asking the Madame Tussauds folks to create a lifelike statue honoring her idol. She’s not alone. To date, the petition has gotten almost 7,000 signatures, and it’s easy to see why. Santos has more musical milestones than we can count, including the fact that he towers over many mainstream artists like Taylor Swift and Katy Perry in total YouTube views.

Happy Birthday, Romeo Santos! 10 Milestones in the King of Bachata’s Career

Clearly, there’s room for more Latino representation at the museums, and the king of bachata is a fantastic choice, even if he’s not the only one deserving of the honor.

Who else should get a statue? Vote in our poll below and/or nominate your own in the comments!
