Joan Sebastian was a hitmaker.

The Mexican singer/songwriter, who died July 13 at 64 years old after a long battle with cancer, placed 32 songs on Billboard's Regional Mexican Airplay chart -- the third-most ever for a solo act. Of those, four hit No. 1, most recently "El Padrino" in 2011.

While Joan Sebastian never left the charts, the week following his death has seen a resurgence in interest for his music, with four tracks among the top 10 on Billboard's Hot Latin Songs chart and 11 total among the top 25.
