Daddy Yankee performs at the 2015 Billboard Latin Music Awards on April 30, 2015 in Miami, Florida.

After a 10-year absence from the venue, reggaeton star Daddy Yankee will play a show at Madison Square Garden Sept. 19.

The show, titled King Daddy: El Concierto, will feature Yankee along with a string of yet to be announced guests. Yankee is also expected to perform a few other major shows in key cities in the U.S., but nothing has been announced yet.

Yankee’s last performance at MSG was in 2005 after the release of Barrio Fino en Directo, the live version of his breakthrough album Barrio Fino, which included the hit “Gasolina.”

Don Omar Teases Potential Tour With Daddy Yankee

The Sept. 19 show is being presented by promoters Felix Cabrera and Raphy Piña through his company Mr. Soldout. The pair also produced the recent show by Plan B in MSG. Tickets will go on sale July 16 through Ticketmaster or directly at MSG.

Yankee is about to kick off his summer European tour July 8 in Ponferrada, Spain and then will continue with 19 dates, beginning July 10 in Bordeaux, France. He will play in Switzerland, Spain, Luxemburg, Italy, Austria and for the first time, in Israel, where he’ll perform in Tel Aviv.

In addition to his MSG show in the fall, there are also rumors of Yankee touring with Don Omar. In a recent interview with Billboard, Don Omar said it was his intention to go out on tour with Yankee in what would be the first tour featuring both acts.
