Pop singer Sofia Reyes, who is the first artist signed to Prince Royce's new label, is getting a major seal-of-approval from Reggaeton star Wisin who joins the songstress on her new bilingual single "Muevelo" or "Move It."
The Mexican-born Reyes, whose first pop album is scheduled for release in early 2015, is seen dancing in various outfits for her lyric video (including a multi-colored bra top), eyeballing the camera and telling viewers to "put your hands in the air … and muevelo!" Wisin delivers his rapid-fire raps throughout the song.
The nightclub-friendly anthem is upbeat, fast-paced and an indicator that Reyes is out to conquer the pop world. The singer has a soulful voice and has covered songs such as Miley Cyrus' "Wrecking Ball" on YouTube. She co-wrote "Muevelo" with Wisin and Toby Gad, among other collaborators. Gad, who has worked major acts such as Beyoncé, One Direction and Demi Lovato, produced the song.
"I wanted to deliver a fun and fresh bilingual song which will make everybody move with the beats," Reyes said. "Wisin definitely adds his signature touch of urban and Latin pop."
Reyes' official video is scheduled for release in the upcoming weeks and will soon join Royce's "Soy el Mismo Tour" as his musical guest.
Reyes' new album is being released under Royce's label D'Leon Records in partnership with Warner Music Latina.
