Laura Pausini

Multilingual pop music superstar Laura Pausini, Spanish idol David Bisbal, globally acclaimed Colombian singer/songwriter Juanes, and Regional Mexican chart toppers La Arrolladora Banda El Limon De Rene Camacho are the first artists confirmed to perform at the 2014 Billboard Latin Music Awards presented by State Farm.

The awards show, Latin music’s longest-running and most prestigious night of honors and entertainment, will be produced and broadcast live by Telemundo Thursday, April 24 at 7pm/6c from the BankUnited Center at the University of Miami.

Italian pop star Laura Pausini is an icon to Spanish-speaking audiences. Her recent single with Alejandro Sanz, “Viveme,” reached No. 9 on Latin Pop Airplay in January, while “Se Fue” featuring Marc Anthony, is currently climbing the charts. Pausini has garnered ten Top 10 titles on the Latin Pop Albums chart, and four singles atop the Latin Pop Airplay chart with “Amores Estraños” (1995), “Gente” (1996), “Las Cosas Que Vives” (1996), and “Como Si No Hubieramos Amado” (2006).  In addition to performing at the Billboard Latin Music Awards, the singer-songwriter and producer will be featured in an exclusive Star Q&A session during the 2014 Billboard Latin Music Conference, presented by State Farm, taking place April 21-24 at Miami’s JW Marriot Marquis.

Juanes will appear at the Billboard Latin Music Awards in the wake of the March 11 release of his widely anticipated and critically lauded album “Loco de Amor”. The single “La Luz” leapt to the top of Billboard Latin Airplay earlier in the month, securing his ninth No. 1 on the chart. Juanes has placed eight songs atop the Billboard Hot Latin Songs chart, including "Me Enamora," which spent 20 weeks at the top of the chart. He has reached No. 1 with four albums on the Billboard Top Latin Albums chart.
