"Loco de Amor" is “really crazy about love,” Colombian rocker Juanes says of his new studio effort during his special Billboard video interview delving into each of the album's tracks. “It’s about obsession, delirium, what happens with human relations.”
The new album, which arrives March 11, is "my best album, no doubt. And that's because of the moment of my life: My last [few] years have been very potent, gave me the strength just to take a new direction," Juanes explains.
"Loco de Amor" is packed with with songs full of light (literally, as first single is titled “La Luz”), Colombian sounds, rock and love, love, love. The album was produced by Steve Lillywhite (U2, The Killers), and with the collaboration of Emmanuel del Real of Café Tacuba.
Watch Juanes shares his his insights on writing and recording each of the 11 songs on "Loco de Amor" in own words, in the video player above.
