Arthur Hanlon

Arthur Hanlon, who holds the distinction for being the only pianist to reach No. 1 on Billboard's Latin charts, kicks off his multi-city tour in October starting in Miami before taking his show to Puerto Rico, New York and Los Angeles.

"El Encanto! A Magical Music Journey," produced by SBS Entertainment, will feature some of Hanlon's biggest hits and special guest appearances by some of Latin music's most recognized entertainers starting on Oct. 25 at Miami's James L. Knight Center, followed by an Oct. 26 show at Bellas Artes in Puerto Rico.

The tour's third stop in New York will take place at Hammerstein Ballroom on Nov. 1 and the final stop is scheduled to take place Nov. 2 at the Saban Theater in Beverly Hills.

Hanlon's live touring show is the next chapter to his nationally seen PBS special "Encanto del Caribe," which was filmed in front of a live audience in San Juan, Puerto Rico's historic Castillo San Cristóbal. That show featured musical guests Laura Pausini, Cheo Feliciano, Natalia Jimenez and Marc Anthony.

Calling it "cultural and musical convergence," Hanlon introduce talent from Puerto Rico such as salsa and bolero singer/composer Cheo Feliciano who is also featured on the CD/DVD "Encanto del Caribe: Arthur Hanlon & Friends (Live from San Cristobal Castle, Puerto Rico-2011), which was produced by Julio Reyes-Copello for Universal Music Latino, Hanlon's label.

Earlier this year in May, Hanlon released his new single "I'll Be There," a new version of the Jackson 5 classic which was recorded this time around with bachata singer Karlos Rosé on vocals. The album spent 10 weeks on the top 10 of Billboard's Tropical Airplay charts.

For the tour, Hanlon has partnered with nonprofit organization ChildFund, which asks people around the world to "adopt" needy children and their families through monthly donations. As part of his partnership, Hanlon will perform his song "Para Los Niños" in every tour stop and ask fans to "Adopt" a ChildFund family.
