Here's When BLACKPINK's Rosé Will Drop Her 'Gone' Music Video

BLACKPINK's Rosé announced on Wednesday (March 31) that she'll release the music video for her single "Gone" next Monday, April 5.

Earlier this month, she released the explosive accompanying visual for "On the Ground," the other single featured on her debut solo project -R- via YG Entertainment. "On the Ground" blasted to No. 1 on both the Billboard Global 200 and Billboard Global Excl. U.S. charts last week (dated March 27). "Gone" debuted at No. 17 on the Global Excl. U.S. chart with 17.4 million streams and 19,000 sold outside the U.S.

As BLACKPINK debuted at No. 1 on the Oct. 17, 2020-dated Global Excl. U.S. survey with "Lovesick Girls," Rosé, who was born in Auckland, New Zealand, and raised in Melbourne, Australia -- and who is now based in South Korea -- is the first artist to have led the list solo and with a group.

Both singles "Gone" and "On the Ground" -- the latter of which she performed on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon earlier this month -- helped boost her to No. 2 on the March 27, 2021-dated Emerging Artists chart. "Gone" debuted at No. 15 on the Digital Song Sales tally with 6,000 copies sold. Before debuting the emotional, acoustic-leaning ballad at BLACKPINK's The Show livestream concert on Jan. 31, Rosé teased 30 seconds of "Gone" and its music video that will premiere in full next week.
