BLACKPINK's Rosé Gets Fancy for 'On the Ground' Music Video Teaser

BLACKPINK's Rosé teased her upcoming single "On the Ground," which is due this Friday, by releasing a 15-second snippet of the music video on Monday (March 8).

The BLACKPINK member is seen wearing a ruched lavender ballgown and cream-colored fur jacket while looking dreamily out the car window. She announced her debut solo album, titled R, on the first of the month with posters for the single and album.

Rosé gave a sneak preview of her solo music during BLACKPINK's January livestream concertThe Show, during which she performed the song "Gone." The "Gone" music video teaser featured the 25-year-old singer lying on the floor of a bathroom, and also staring blankly into the distance as she sat at a dinner table set for one.

BLACKPINK's official Twitter account released another poster revealing singles "On the Ground" and "Gone" on the R track list. Rosé co-wrote "On the Ground" with Amy Allen, Jon Bellion, Jorgen Odegard, Raul Cubina and TEDDY; Bellion, Odegard, TEDDY, ojivolta, and 24 produced the upcoming single.

For International Women's Day on Monday, she curated a celebratory Apple Music playlist featuring Amy Winehouse's "Love Is a Losing Game," Sabrina Claudio's "Confidently Lost," Jenevieve's "Medallion," TLC's "No Scrubs," and several group and solo tracks from BLACKPINK, including "Lovesick Girls."
