And on the fourth night BTS brought things down a bit. Thursday night's (Oct. 1) edition of the K-pop supergroup's weeklong Tonight Show residency found the seven-member supergroup paying a return visit to the iconic Gyeonghoeru pavilion at Gyengbok Palace in Seoul for a performance of the moody ballad "Mikrokosmos" from 2019's Map of the Soul: Persona.

Dressed in muted dark blue, black and white, RM, Jin, Suga, J-Hope, Jimin, V, and Jungkook emoted their way through the song as they wandered under the towering, temple-like structure, their performance enhanced by colorful, dramatic lighting and the expansive reflecting pools stretched out in front of them. The set ended with a swarm of drones floating above the pavilion in the form of the ARMY logo and Jimin shouting "we love y0u!"

The previous nights have included performances of "Black Swan," "Home," "Dynamite" and "Idol," as well as a sit-down interview about their high school days and some fun and games. Thursday night's show was no different, as the guys were all-in for a new game called "Zoom Olympics."

The series of goofy challenges included Jimin facing off against host Jimmy Fallon in the Groundhog Challenge, in which each man had to pop his head into the video frame as many times as possible in 15 seconds. The rest of the group's members whipped their noggins back and forth in head-to-head matches, before moving on to a challenge that dared them to stack as many TV remotes up in their hand as possible. The epic battle ended with the most ridiculous feat: shaking as many guitar picks as possible out of an acoustic six-string.

Hey, it's the pandemic, what did you expect?
