Happy holidays, Blinks! Blackpink's Rosé got into the yultide spirit on Wednesday (Dec. 18) by releasing a solo cover of "The Christmas Song."

Clocking in at just under two minutes, the rare English-language track finds the Blackpink singer's ethereal vocals floating over sparse, vintage-sounding synths as she sings of chesnuts roasting and eyes all aglow.

"Here's a little Christmas gift I prepared for you guys. I did a short cover of my favourite Christmas carol, The Christmas Song by Nat King Cole," Rosé wrote on Instagram of the single before telling fans, "I hope you like my small gift and that you all have a safe and sound Christmas. I love you all from the bottom of my heart. Merry Christmas."

"The Christmas Song" marks the K-pop star's first solo offering since Blackpink skyrocketed to fame in 2016 thanks to hits like "Ddu-du Ddu-du" and "Kill This Love." The cover also gives fans a taste of what they might hear on Rosé's forthcoming, as-yet-untitled solo single, which YG Entertainment CEO Yang Hyun Suk announced earlier this year would be following bandmate Jennie's 2018 hit "Solo" -- though an official release date for the track has yet to be confirmed.
