K-pop girl group Dreamcatcher may be moving away from their haunting Nightmare-themed series, but are still weaving a magical dreamworld in the music video for their newest single, “Deja Vu.”

Released today (Sept. 18), the dynamic pop-rock track soars with the impactful vocals of Dreamcatcher’s seven members, as softer verses revolve around the forceful chorus, full of energy and dramatic, metal-infused instrumentals.

“Deja Vu” is a collaboration between Dreamcatcher and mobile game King’s Raid, and was released through the similarly-themed five-track collaboration EP, Raid of Dream. Fittingly, the music video for the new single sees the members of the group transported to a castle setting where they continually face off with one another in what looks like a series of betrayals to get atop of a throne, like something straight out of Game of Thrones or a fantasy video game world. Dance scenes are interspersed throughout the plot, featuring sweeping choreography emphasized by elegantly flowing white outfits and, later, black leather duster jackets.

Along with the official music video featuring the members of Dreamcatcher, King's Raid also released its own video for the song, featuring moving illustrations that shows some of the art featured in the game. According to that video’s bio on YouTube, Dreamcatcher is an ideal collaborator for the game as have a lot of similarities. As for the song itself,“‘Deja Vu’ conveys emotions like darkness, loss, breakdown and rage that you have felt in 'King's Raid Pandemonium' very well,” referring to the RPG’s gameplay.

Since their start in 2017, Dreamcatcher has rapidly become a fan favorite in the K-pop world, gaining a reputation for themselves due to their distinct, heavy rock-influenced music and fantastical visual concepts. Over the years, the girl group has landed four EPs on the World Albums chart, with their most recent release The End of Nightmare peaking at No. 6 on the chart dated Feb. 23.
