BTS and Halsey’s April single “Boy with Luv” has felt the love from a lot of people, and now the Recording Industry of America (RIAA) has recognized it as a certified platinum hit.

On June 20, the RIAA added “Boy with Luv” to its registry, ascertaining that the hit had achieved over 1 million units, listing its gold and platinum status simultaneously.

“Boy with Luv” is the second song by BTS to earn a platinum certification, following “Mic Drop,” which earned the recognition last November.

One equivalent song unit, as recognized by the RIAA, is equal to one digital song sale, or 150 on-demand audio and/or video streams. The RIAA revamped its Gold & Platinum Awards Program on Feb. 1, 2016, growing from a pure sales certification process to one that includes tracks and streams.

BTS are the sole musical act from South Korea to ever have more than a singular song get recognized platinum by the RIAA. Aside from BTS, the only other South Korean artist to ever have a single song certified platinum is Psy, whose “Gangnam Style” was five times multi-platinum.

Three other songs by BTS, "DNA," Fake Love," and "IDOL," have all been certified gold, while last year's Billboard 200 chart-topper Love Yourself: Answer album has also achieved that recognition.
