Last Tuesday, PSY’s ‘Summer Swag 2019’ ticket sales opened on South Korean ticketing websites and the server for the nation's largest online ticket seller, INTERPARK, crashed due to a traffic surge as fans rushed to buy tickets for the 11 July and August shows.

The annual ‘Summer Swag’ concerts have become the singer’s trademark warm weather events since launching in 2012. The concerts are famous for featuring water cannons and sprinklers which will surely cool down the audiences from summer’s scorching heat. Since this year’s event will lead to the big reveal of new music from the "Gangnam Style" singer, the shows are expected to draw large crowds.

Meanwhile, PSY is plotting a comeback with his ninth studio album in early July, the follow-up to 2017's 4X2=8. It will be his first official move since founding PNATION, a South Korean management agency and record label that he announced earlier this year.
