Blackpink Fans React to 'Kill This Love' Single & EP Announcement: '2019 Is About to Be Saved'

The Blinks are ready. Late Sunday night (March 24), Blackpink announced the launch of a new era with their new single, “Kill This Love” and EP of the same name, sending their loyal army of fans into a frenzy.

With many calling the girl group’s return a “comeback,” fans flooded Twitter with tweets of the single’s bold poster featuring youngest member Lisa, along with the hashtags #killthislove and #Blackpinkiscoming.

Other fans took to Twitter to reveal what they were hoping for in the new song and music video, including more lines sung by soft-spoken Jisoo, major choreography from dancer Lisa and predictions of new looks from each of the girls.

In a press release corresponding with the announcement, the group’s label, YG Entertainment, promised the new song -- which drops April 5 -- will be “a very fierce track, even more so than ‘DDU-DU DDU-DU’” and that the music video will feature dance routines “composed by four world-famous choreographers.”
