After landing their debut EP Treasure EP.1: All to Zero on the World Albums chart for two weeks with a peak at No. 12, rookie K-pop boy band ATEEZ are back with the follow up, Treasure EP.2: Zero to One.

Released on Tuesday (Jan. 15), the album is fronted by the single “Say My Name,” a bombastic hip-pop track that vacillates between melodic verses riding on whistling synths and rhythmic strings, and horn-filled choruses dominated by the chant-like hook. The group’s only just begun their career, but have already displayed a standard sound, balancing sleek vocal displays with powerful raps, all playing into their dynamic performances that accompany the songs.

The dramatic music video for “Say My Name” takes advantage of the act's flair for theatricality, splicing charismatic choreography scenes with ones of the eight members acting as mirrored foils to one another, and then as codebreakers. Things end with them transforming into the bandit-like personas they were seen previously in the captivating performance video for pre-album-release track “HALA HALA (Hearts Awakened, Live Alive).” As a way to start the year, it doesn’t get much better.

Each of the five tracks released on Zero to One’s physical edition were composed and arranged by producers EDEN, BUDDY, and LEEZ, while a sixth song, “From" was co-composed and arranged by the former pair and Hongjoong. He, Mingi, HLB, and KQ Fellaz 1 -- a former name for ATEEZ -- are credited as lyricists on the album along with the other songwriters.

ATEEZ debuted in October with the dual singles "Pirate King" and "Treasure."
