NCT 127 Release Korean-Language Music Video for 'Regular': Watch

They shared an English-version, alternate video earlier this week.

Earlier this week, K-pop boy band NCT 127 released a music video for the English version of their new single “Regular,” and now they’re back with a brand new one to match the newly-released Korean variant of their song.

Released on Thursday (Oct. 11), the 10-member act revealed the Korean version of “Regular” through the new music video, which shows a different side to the group than the boisterous English one did. While keeping many of the same shots and sets, the group’s activities are seen through another, slightly less aggressive lens in the new video, which does away with several more individually-focused shots -- along with guns as props -- and instead emphasizes the band's unified identity by putting the focus on group shots.

The second music video’s release precedes NCT 127’s Regular-Irregular album, which is set to drop on Friday. It is the group’s first LP, and the second to come out of SM Entertainment’s larger NCT team. It was preceded by this year’s NCT 2018 Empathy, which featured all currently active members of NCT and its subunits: 127, NCT Dream and NCT U.

As one of several NCT entities, NCT 127 made their debut in 2016 with the release of their first EP, NCT #127. It went to No. 2 on the World Albums chart. Since then, the group has seen three other albums appear on the chart, including their chart-topping 2017 EP Limitless.

The two versions of “Regular” appear on the album alongside 10 other tracks from the group. Ahead of its release, NCT 127 recently appeared Stateside to perform on Jimmy Kimmel Live! and walked the red carpet at the AMAs.
