John Legend will be releasing the duet “Written In The Stars” with Red Velvet’s Wendy later this month.

“Written In The Stars” will be released as part of SM Entertainment’s Station x 0 collaboration project, which has seen several artists from different genres team up to release songs together. This is the first time EGOT winner Legend is working with a K-pop artist.

Wendy and Legend announced the collaboration on Sunday (Oct. 7) through a video uploaded to social media channels, where the pair revealed they were on the set of the music video for “Written In The Stars.” The song is an entirely English track.

Canadian-raised vocalist Wendy debuted under SM Entertainment as a member of Red Velvet in 2014, which has gone on to become one of the most popular K-pop girl groups and is currently one of the best-charting Korean acts on the World Albums chart.

In a statement, she said that she has “been such a fan of John’s work for a long time, so to collaborate with him on this project was a dream.”

The song will be released digitally on Oct. 19.
