In its fourth year, KCON NY returns to the New York City area again this weekend, and it will bring a lot of Korean pop-culture-focused scheduling with it. The two-day event -- which will be held at Newark, New Jersey’s Prudential Center and surrounding areas -- kicks off Saturday and will run through Sunday.

Here are some highlights to definitely check out, including some information about live-streamed events that anyone can watch from the comfort of their own home instead of the sweltering East Coast summer heat.

Behind-the-scene looks

Many panels and workshops at KCON 2018 NY will give attendees a look inside the K-pop world and will feature sessions with producers, industry insiders, social media influencers, professional fans and a lot more.

Other events include K-pop dance tutorials, crafting and cooking lessons, fan meet-ups and more.

All the stars come out for the concerts

Like all KCONs, the highlight of KCON 2018 NY are the two nights of concerts. The first night features soloist Heize; boy bands Pentagon, Stray Kids and Super Junior; and girl group Red Velvet as performers, while Sunday’s show has girl groups EXID and fromis_9 appearing alongside boy bands Golden Child, NCT 127 and Wanna One. It marks the first time several acts, including Red Velvet, will perform on the East Coast.

Tickets are still on sale for both the convention and concert, though sold separately. Anyone who isn’t able to attend can watch the official live stream on the website of KCON organizer Mwave.

KCON 2018 NY STAR Live Talk with Billboard

For the first time ever, Billboard has teamed up with KCON to host a live talk show-style event that will be featured on Billboard’s Facebook and YouTube channels from 12:30-2:30 p.m. on both Saturday and Sunday. NCT 127, EXID, Super Junior and other Korean artists are going to make appearances, answer some questions and maybe play a game or two. These will be open to all convention ticket-holders and separate from the fan engagement and red carpet events, where stars and certain ticket-holders can interact intimately.
