Just over a year since releasing their first single, Korean boy band A.C.E released their debut EP Adventures in Wonderland on Thursday (June 7). The album was fronted by the sunny track “Take Me Higher.”

In comparison to the group’s previous two singles, 2017’s debut track “Cactus” and the follow-up “Callin’” -- both of which featured grittier electronic sounds -- the new song features A.C.E in a brighter light, enveloping their sleek vocals in a groovy pop-rock sound that dips into alt R&B in its final moments. It’s a new look for the act, and comes while vocalist Chan is absent due to his activities with temporary boy band UNB.

However, they pull it off in a festive way through “Take Me Higher.” The song was released with a color-pop music video that featured the four members playing around and partying together as they dance along to the upbeat tune.

“Take Me Higher” fronted the group’s Adventures in Wonderland EP, which featured both new and old music from the group, including their older singles.
