Korean boy band ONF returned with their second EP You Complete Me on Thursday (June 7), fronted by the boisterous “Complete.” A new act that debuted with their ON/OFF album last year, ONF served up a vibrant single perfect for the summer.

With tropical house leanings and dynamic, retro-inspired pop elements, like ‘90s-esque sax riffs and ‘80s digital quirks, the song shifts between tempos seamlessly as it builds to a powerful finale. An earworm of a hook (“you complete me-e-e-eh”), delivered with slightly distorted vocals, completes the song’s vibrant melody, resulting in one of the most fun, and explosive, K-pop songs from any male rookie act this year.

The music video for "Complete" shows the members of ONF in a variety of summertime settings and outfits, ranging from athletic wear to soft pink suits, as they perform the animated choreography. The star of the video is the group's dancing, puddle-kicks and all, and the cinematic shots that draw the viewer's attention to different focal points as the K-pop group sings.

Along with the single, You Complete Me features four other songs, all of which were written or co-written by part of the MonoTree songwriting team.

You Complete Me was released just a few weeks after the group’s short-term future became more settled after it was reported that two members, Hyojin and Laun, would be remaining with ONF. The pair were set to partake in a temporary boy band formed through the television show Mix Nine, but the project was ultimately cancelled.

ONF is signed to WM Entertainment, the label behind B1A4 and Oh My Girl.
