The second leg of the 2017 Mnet Asian Music Awards took place in Japan today (Nov. 29). With some of K-pop’s rising stars in attendance and TWICE taking home the night’s biggest award of song of the year for “Signal,” there was a lot going on. Here’s a look at some of the standout performances of the night:

1. An Ode to BoA - BoA, Seventeen, TWICE, Wanna One/Nu’Est

The night kicked off with a special "Coexistence" intro, dedicated to the career of the legendary K-pop soloist BoA. After singing a few verses of  "Girls On Top," Seventeen appeared on stage to put their take "No. 1," after which TWICE appeared to sing "My Name." BoA also performed renditions of "Only One," with Hwang Minhyun of Wanna One and Nu'Est acting as her dance partner, and her latest single "CAMO.”

2. Girls, Girls, Girls - Chungha, PRISTIN, Weki Meki, fromis_9, Idol School Class 1, AKB48

Graduates of several Mnet television shows, including the first season of Produce 101 and Idol School, and their accompanying groups, were joined by the iconic J-Pop group AKB48 to perform the addictive “Pick Me” all together. Each act also had the chance to perform their recent releases or biggest songs, including the best of next award winner Chungha whose "Why Don't You Know" was a major hit this year in South Korea.

Mnet used the 2017 MAMA in Japan to announce their upcoming Produce 48 project, which will reportedly blend elements of the station’s competition show Produce 101 and AKB48’s local accessibility.

3. A Piece of “Heaven” - Nu’Est W, Seventeen

The two male groups under Pledis Entertainment offered up their own individual sets, but also joined together to collaborate on a special performance of the song “Heaven.”

4. Something “Beautiful" - Monsta X

Monsta X put on a theatrical, energy-filled performance ahead of winning the Best Concert Performer award. With hard-hitting raps, powerful dance breaks, and a remix of “Beautiful,” it would have been enough to tide over any fan of the boy band, but then they also sang their most recent single “Dramarama.”

5. Getting The Cash - EXO-CBX

The three-member unit of EXO -- Chen, Baekhyun, and Xiumin -- offered up a remix of their Vegas-reminiscent "Ka-CHING!" With sleek moves and a playful attitude, it closed out 2017 MAMA in Japan in a fun way.
