South Korean group BTS continues its upward trajectory in the American music sphere after it was announced that the K-pop superstars will be performing their hit single, “DNA,” at the American Music Awards on Nov. 19.
While the AMAs will be the group’s second American awards ceremony this year, after their appearance at this year's Billboard Music Awards, it’ll mark their first time performing at one.
“It is such an honor for BTS and BigHit Entertainment to be invited to the American Music Awards as one of the performers,” a representative from the band’s label told Forbes. “Our partners in the U.S. have helped us pave the way in every way possible, and together we are making history. We are also excited to show our fans, ARMY, the first-ever U.S. live TV performance of 'DNA.'”
