EXID Tease New Album 'Full Moon,' Marking Member Solji's Return

On Tuesday (Oct. 17), K-pop girl group EXID announced they’ll make a comeback on Nov. 7 with their upcoming mini album, Full Moon.

In a concept teaser image, moon phases vertically stream across the EXID logo. However, a full moon replaces the eclipse’s spot, a nod to their previous mini album, Eclipse, which debuted at No. 4 on the World Albums chart. Their last single, “Night Rather Than Day,” marked a deviation from their uptempo sexy concepts.

The Korea Herald reported that the “full moon” concept symbolizes the quintet’s return as a whole after lead vocalist Solji was previously sidelined due to hyperthyroidism. 

While Solji recorded on the album, it’s unclear if she’ll promote on music shows with the other four members.
