Waiting no more, the K-pop quartet is back in the spotlight with 'W, Here,' which was released Tuesday.

K-pop boy band Nu’Est W is letting the world know where to find them on their latest single and it’s nowhere near the obscurity that once plagued the act.

The group -- the five-year-old band Nu’Est without its fifth member Minhyun -- released their latest single on Tuesday with the EP, W, Here. As a response to their newfound popularity, “Where You At” is an airy EDM track that reintroduces Nu’Est W as a group whose place in the industry is no longer something to be questioned -- “Where You At” topped charts in South Korea with its declarative, ethereal electro-pop styling.

Co-written by Bumzu, who also had his hand in labelmates' Seventeen’s “Don’t Wanna Cry” with a similaly mournful EDM sound, “Where You At” takes one of the most popular trends in K-pop and uses it to emphasize the bandmembers stirring voices, balancing Ren and Aron’s mellow tones with Baekho’s soaring wails and JR’s creeping raps. With a choral refrain that seems to question, state and even bemoan the titular phrase with each repetition as the beat drops, the single makes the case that the narrator's place is “Where You At,” wherever that might be.

In Nu’Est W’s case, where it band is at also happens to be the beginning of the second wind of its career. After a promising debut in 2012, Nu’Est spent much of the past half decade in relative stagnation, despite the stylistically intriguing singles like "Overcome" and "Love Paint." Things changed when four of the five members of Nu'Est appeared on this year’s season of Produce 101, a South Korean star search program, and became some of the most popular contestants on the show. The four grew to prominence and Minhyun was eventually voted into temporary boy band Wanna One, prompting Nu’Est to revamp as Nu’Est W -- a reference to their “wait” for their on-hiatus member -- and attempt to reclaim their spot in the industry, once again with all eyes upon them.

“Where You At” is the lead single off of W, Here, one of only two songs along with “My Beautiful” on the album to feature all four members of Nu’Est W. The EP’s four other tracks serve as solos, giving each of the men a chance to reintroduce listeners to their individual flares: Ren’s “Paradise” is another EDM track, Aron’s is a groovy alt R&B tune, JR’s “With” is an uplifting mellow rap track, while Baekho’s sweet ballad “Thankful For You” rounds out the set.
