Kim Won-sik, Jung Taek-woon, Lee Hongbin, Cha Hak-yeon, Han Sang-hyuk, and Lee Jae-hwan of 'VIXX' perform at the 2015 K-Pop Festival at Prudential Center on Aug. 8, 2015 in Newark, New Jersey.

No strangers to North American K-pop conventions, six-member boy band VIXX will be one of several Korean acts performing at KCON USA presented by Toyota in Los Angeles in August.

VIXX joins Girl’s Day, SF9, NCT 127 and ASTRO as part of the KCON 2017 LA concert lineup. The five acts, along with soon-to-be-announced artists, will perform during the headlining concerts of the three-day-long Korean culture convention and music festival Aug. 18-20 in Los Angeles.

For the first time ever, KCON 2017 will also feature an Artist Alley where convention-goers will be able to interact with K-pop artists.

Known for theatrical performances and stylistic concepts, VIXX return to the West Coast version of KCON for the third time. After performing at KCON’s inaugural year in 2012, the band attended KCON LA again in 2014. The next year, they headed to the East Coast version, KCON NY, and also performed in Canada at Toronto Kpop Con.

VIXX released their fourth EP, Shangri-La, in May, impressing with their dedication to an East-meets-West sound that blended future bass synths with traditional Korean instrumentals. The album peaked at No. 4 on the World Albums chart.

In its sixth year, KCON 2017 LA will take place at the Los Angeles Convention Center and Staples Center. Tickets go on sale starting July 7 at 1 p.m. ET/10 a.m. PT, when combo tickets for the two headlining concerts will be available.
