Everyday is led by the banging, brassy single "I'll Be Yours." The cut sees the ladies boldly telling a paramour how to land their hearts over booming percussion, pounding piano and funky horn blasts. The accompanying video plays along to the strong, in-control feel of past Girl's Day videos as the members knock dudes out in a boxing ring and tantalize the guys in a barber shop.
The comeback also sees Girl's Day return to Billboard's World Digital Song Sales chart, with their latest debuting at No. 11.
"I'll Be Yours" is the band's seventh appearance to date since first appearing in 2013 with "Expect" (which peaked at No. 13). They also charted "Female President" that same year (at No. 7), earned two more entries in 2014 with "Something" (No. 9) and "Darling" (No. 5), and then landed another pair in 2015 with "Hello Bubble" (No. 11) and "Ring My Bell" (No. 25).
Everyday also includes standouts like the sexy, come-hither "Thirsty," member Minah's powerful solo synth ballad "Truth," and the swooning, acoustic number "Love Again." All in all, it's accomplished feat for the girl group entering their seventh year together as former powerhouses like 2NE1 and 4Minute both recently disbanded after seven years together.
