Soulful pop music has never been quite as sweet as the stinging “Honey Bee,” a new single featuring Mamamoo’s Solar, EXID’s Hani, and f(x)’s Luna.

“Honey Bee” was released on Jan. 18, and is the first time Luna, Hani, and Solar have recorded a song together. Each of the three are considered primary vocalists in their respective girl group, and their talent shines throughout “Honey Bee.” The trio’s strong voices blend over the jazzy funk track, competing with the bass, saxophone, and synth sounds for dominance in the forefront of the melody.

The buzzworthy single is reminiscent of Mamamoo’s retro-inspired playful pop style, but both Hani and Luna bring in their own color to “Honey Bee”: the seductive lyrics are pure EXID, while the electronic undertones during the chorus echo of f(x)’s experimental sounds.

Although the three are members of competing girl groups, the special collaborative track was engineered by Mystic Entertainment.

Last year’s “Dream,” a duet featuring EXO’s Baekhyun and miss A’s Suzy, was also created by Mystic and become one of the most popular Korean songs of 2016. The collaborative track “Honey Bee” was produced by Park Keun Tae (Brown Eyed Girls’ “Warm Hole").

Along with recording the digital single, Luna, Solar, and Hani each appeared in a music video that featured the threesome dancing around an old-school bowling alley. Watch it now:
