There was a feverish response to both GOT7 and the music from hit Korean drama Descendants of the Sun on YouTube this past month. The boy band's latest and a Descendants single from female duo Davichi earned the most viewed K-pop videos for March 2016 in America and around the world, respectively.

YouTube reports that GOT7's "Fly" was the most-watched K-pop video in America last month and runner-up in the global ranking, marking yet another accomplishment after the septet's super-buzzy comeback. Meanwhile, Davichi's "This Love" visual was the most-watched around the world, thanks to its inclusion in the popular Korean TV show Descendants of the Sun.

To give an indication of how popular the music from Descendants is, look no further than last month's K-pop video lists that see four entries from the drama on both the global and U.S. tally, indicating the show's popularity isn't just in Korea. Also of interest: None of the music videos were filmed by or feature the artists, but instead show scenes from the episode from which it was featured. "This Love" ranks at No. 1 globally and No. 4 in U.S., as other singles bow in the top 10, including Gummy's "You Are My Everything" (No. 3 globally, No. 6 in America), K.Will's "Talk Love" (No. 6 globally, No. 8 in America), plus Mad Clown and Kim Na Young's "Once Again" (No. 7 globally, No. 10 in America).

Elsewhere on the chart, new releases from acts on Korea's top labels fill in the gaps. Lee Hi, from YG Entertainment, hits both lists with two entries: "Breathe" (No. 2 stateside, No. 4 worldwide) and "Hold My Hand" (No. 5 stateside, No. 9 worldwide). Red Velvet, of SM Entertainment, lands on both tallies with "One of These Nights" (No. 3 stateside, No. 5 worldwide), as does Red Velvet's singer Wendy who teamed up with solo star Eric Nam for the collaboration "Spring Love" (No. 9 stateside, No. 10 globally).
