GFriend is earning praise and sympathy from YouTube viewers. A fan-recorded video of the K-pop girl group's Sept. 5 performance earned nearly two million views in less than two days when it showed the ladies suffering from multiple falls during a concert hosted by SBS, a major Korean television network.

Performing their latest single, "Me Gustas Tu," the sextet slips and stumbles (some of which look quite painful) nearly a dozen times but push on with the show. The stage was slippery from rain during the show.

The "Me Gustas Tu" performance is somewhat representative of the intense conditions K-pop stars are known to work under. GFriend just made their debut on the scene in January -- and was selected by Billboard as a K-Pop Act to Watch in 2015 -- which translates into a huge pressure to get noticed in the competitive industry. K-pop singers have been known to put on a tough face for audiences instead of worrying about their own safety in an effort to get ahead. The wet stage is also representative of the careless conditions sometimes seen from Korean event promoters.

To date, GFriend have released two EPs: January's Season of Glass and July's Flower Bud, with lead singles "Glass Bead" and "Me Gustas Tu," respectively, having performed remarkably well on South Korea's domestic charts for a new act.
