South Korean boy band Super Junior perform on stage in concert at Taipei Arena on November 30, 2014 in Taipei, Taiwan.

The boy band will play the Los Angeles date for the upcoming K-pop festival.

Earlier this year, Super Junior members Siwon and Donghae told Billboard that they were "planning for North American" tour dates and "believed [they] would get to meet fans" in America this year. Today, the guys made good on that promise when KCON began rolling out its 2015 lineup, announcing the long-lasting K-pop act as its first artist.

Super Junior will perform and meet fans at Los Angeles' Staples Center for KCON, America's biggest K-pop festival this summer. The appearance marks their first U.S. performance in nearly three years. The announcement was made during the fest's weekly #KCONLiveChat.

While KCON has announced an additional East Coast date, a rep for KCON tells Billboard that Super Junior has only been confirmed for the Los Angeles date so far and mentioned that there will be differences in the lineups between the NY and LA dates.

With the release of their seventh studio album Mamacita in September, Super Junior earned their first No. 1 on Billboard's World Albums chart. The band's "This Is Love" video was also the most-watched K-pop video around the world on YouTube last October.

KCON says more artists will be announced in the coming months before tickets are on sale in June. KCON returns to Los Angeles from July 31 to Aug. 2, and then hits New York a week later on August 8.
